Research Team: Nutrigenomics Team

Place of Work: Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research, Olsztyn

Keywords: Transcriptomics, ATAC-seq, Mechanistic modeling, Human Intervention, Vitamin D, Multi-omics, Nutrigenomics

Research focus:

My research explores how vitamin D influences the healthy human immune system. I work with data from human intervention trials such as VitDHiD and VitDPAS, where I classify individuals into high, mid, and low responders based on transcriptomic and ATAC-seq profiles. This approach helps me understand inter-individual variability in response to supplementation at a molecular level. Using multi-omics integration and statistical modeling, I aim to uncover consistent patterns in immune regulation driven by vitamin D. My broader goal is to build a mechanistic model that explains how vitamin D modulates immune function in diverse individuals. By the end of my PhD, I hope to offer insights that bridge personalized nutrition and systems immunology, ultimately contributing to precision health strategies.
