Research Focus:

Oliwia Serej holds both an engineering and a master’s degree in biology from the University of Rzeszów. In 2021, she completed her engineering thesis on the impact of plant-derived microRNA on normal fibroblast cells. In 2022, she earned her master’s degree with a thesis focused on the effects of pyrethroids and extremely low-frequency electromagnetic fields on the honey bee (Apis mellifera).

Since 2022, she has been pursuing her PhD studies, focusing on research in the fields of epigenetics and reproductive physiology. Her current work investigates the role of methylation of progesterone receptor isoforms A and B in the regulation of corpus luteum function in cows. This research has potential applications in both veterinary science and reproductive medicine.
